Rathole Radio - Episode 27 - 30th May

It’s time for another Rathole Radio. This time I played my usual mix of eclectic styles and people said it was a “more relaxed” show, until I got to the thrash metal at the end of the show that is muwhahaha. I also played a live version of one of my favourite blues song, complete with Bee Gees falsetto vocals in parts, listen out for that. I hope you enjoy the show.

As I entered the lions den A.K.A. The Hilton Hotel A.K.A. this year’s host to the Sound City ‘front of shop’ proceedings, I was met with the overwhelming presence of main cheese Dave Pitchilingi on my left, TV pundit Rob Goldblade on my right and a whole host of assorted groupings of nice men with hair cuts spattered throughout. I broke into an uncomfortable sweat and claimed my press pass. A lady was repeatedly saying someone else’s name at me and, being that it was other than my own name, I was confused by this, to the point where I then agreed that it was indeed my name and took the pass hastily. I left to see the posh Sound City hire car creating a hullaballoo with yet more men with nice hair getting out.

Rathole Radio - Episode 26 16th May

The first regular Rathole Radio in a month with the gig and everything else going on. It was good to be back in the saddle. I played an eclectic mix of music as always, chatted with people listening live and probably said “erm” too much. Normal service was resumed. I also played an exclusive live song I wrote years ago but which hasn’t really been heard in public before. Hope you enjoy it! Don’t forget to leave comments on the website, send emails and get involved.

Rathole Radio - Episode 25 - 3rd May

rattyA very very special Rathole Radio this time as I present some of the action from the live gig in Liverpool on Friday April 30th. It was a great night and I’m really pleased so many people came along and joined us. We had great live music from the Reflect Harmony Group to open the event. Sadly I don’t have a recording of their set and I can only apologise for that. I will try to get them to do a session in future to make up for it. So next it was onto Attila The Stockbroker and David Rovics.
