Friday 23rd September sees the return of the annual Liverpool Acoustic Live 'Roots and Blues Special'. It takes place at theregular venue the View Two Gallery on Mathew Street and they've got two fantastic local acts and one top-class international act playing.

This August, the fourth annual Above the Beaten Track returns to the Bluecoat to showcase the best of Liverpool’s cultural underground with an assortment of live music and DJs, live art, poetry and audio-visual extravaganzas.

The fabulous Joe Topping is headlining with an extended set of mainly self-penned songs. Also playing for is an amazingly talented young singer-songwriter called Steph Fraser, and completing the line-up is the return of our favourite Swedish band, The Orchestra.
Doors open at 8.00pm, and the music starts at 8.30pm and goes through to just after 11.00pm

It's a bit late but maybe just time enough to bring you news that David Gibb and the Pony Club are coming to Liverpool tonighty, and you really shouldn't miss out.
