Audio workshop

Working creatively with audio - record, edit, present and share 

 

This is a one day workshop aimed at those people working in the creative sector looking to use audio in creative and challenging ways. The workshop aims to give attendees the knowledge and experience to use recording equipment, editing software, Arduino Wav shields and triggers.

 

 

The workshop leaders will give you a step by step guide to audio production, we will be recording, editing plus looking at audio platforms such as Shoudio and Live streaming.

Attendees will be getting their hands dirty with some field recordings and we'll be looking to be presenting completed works by the end of the day.

Networking and discussion 
We will be provide opportunities throughout the day for attendees to discuss audio practice, presentation techniques and explore examples of new work.  

This workshop is aimed primarily at artists that are interested in using audio within their practice, however do not feel that this should exclude you if you unsure about attending - do please email neil at defnetmedia.com if you have any questions.

Workshop attendees should bring a working laptop, PC or MAC that has working WiFi
