Call for Donation of old computers to arts project

Chaosmos a non-profit making arts initiative in Warrington, with an interest in the research, development and production of multi-media and digital technology are calling for old computers. For 2010 and 2011, Chaosmos is organising the assemblage of a render farm for professional upcoming artists and graduates to access to enable the development of art in digital media.

A render farm is a large computer system that enables the editing and production of high quality digital films that are normally excluded for the elite and isolate opportunities to those up and coming in digital media practice.

The donation of old computers will provide the equipment to be recycled to construct the render farm and open up creative opportunities.
