Social Media Cafe Liverpool wants to hear from you!

smclogoweb@SMCliv has been running since June 2010 on a not so monthly basis but has had some fantastic events and talks from across the Social Media spectrum. Their latest event  on the 2nd August at Static Gallery and will consist of a series of talks on Open Data and Open Data projects.

Open Data has enormous economic potential, from developing new markets to creating services for local government.

They are now collecting suggestions for their 6th September event but it could be you!

So if you have a project or a pitch that you would like to share with others at Social media cafe then get intouch with them. It doesn't have to be strictly Social Media as they have had talks about Liverpool's Digital Future and have a talk about interenet privacy and security coming up.

So if you have a Layar project, a blogging report, a system for making things go viral then they want to hear from you.

Arts and Culture: We are promised that during the Biennial they will also be holding a special on using Social Media within an arts and cultural organisation, during the 2010 Biennial this proved to be highly popular so start thinking about your talk now.

smc livBooking is now open for the latest Social Media cafe on 2nd August and if you have a Open Data project you wish to discuss follow this link

Social Media cafe Liverpool is supported by How Why DIY, a network of creative technoligists - join up create a group and start your own fantastic events.
