FIOS2014 is an opportunity for those interested in the development of Future Cities infrastructure services and potential value chains. The internet of Things and open data will provide the basis for the next generation of services driving down the cost of information provision within Local Authorities whilst providing additional services to citizens and business. This can only be achieved through the opening of dialogues between cities, technologists, citizens and business.
FIOS2014 will bring individuals together to discuss recent and future problems, expose data and demonstrate potential solutions to encourage dialogue with the aim of developing business relationships between those who can “make it happen”.
