Liverpool Central Library will host a unique opportunity for visitors to meet artists who make ‘book art’ and to buy directly from them on 8 and 9 July.
Founded by former Chairman of the Bluecoat Simon Ryder, the fair is now in its third year. Works for sale include cards and hand-crafted notebooks; limited editions of books of text and illustration; hand-made papers; and unique book sculptures. Prices range from around £5 into the hundreds.
OPEN CALL to arts organisations and community broadcasters
As part of our arts programme ABC 2012 – 2014 Community Media Association invites community broadcasters and arts organisations in England working together to submit project proposals to Modulate 2014.
Abandon Normal Devices is offering a bursary of up to £500 for emerging practitioners to showcase new work or work in progress at an event new to our programme in 2013, the AND Fair.
The fair is inspired by the World’s Fairs of old, where inventors could showcase new inventions and discoveries such as moving images, electricity or the fluorescent light bulb.
Whether you are an artist, engineer, hacker, technologist or maker – or you sit somewhere in between – we would love to hear from you.
