Art in Liverpool FM

art in liverpool fm logo webIt's my own personal history project stretching back to 2007 - with hundreds of recorded interviews, podcasts and plays. This section of the site is pretty old so don't expect it to work all the time and ignore it asking for Real Player to be loaded.

So Listener beware!!!

IN OUR ROUNDUP OF THE WEEK

The Static Trainee monument got off to a very wet start but its still going and growing, you can watch it grow via the webcam at http://www.statictrading.com/indexlivestream.html

Excellent degree shows at Hope and JMU. Our artinliverpool.com purchase prize at Hope Uni went to Dominic Foster. The new JMU art academy was very busy but coped well and looked really good (building and artwork) and pleased to see all the strands from architecture to fashion in the one place.
Listen out to our Dominic Foster interview coming soon.

The Art & Craft New Village Fete was also very popular and some really good stalls there - with music and mushroom 'burgers' in the courtyard (never knew there was a courtyard at Heebie Jeebies)
Should become a regular event.

The 2 drawing exhibitions at Bluecoat - also very interesting, all types of drawing methods.

HUB Festival had good weather, but seemed a bit low-key and a lot of people not happy with the venue compared to Otterspool.
