To fly like a bird...and why flapping your arms wont work!

At the next edition of SciBar in Liverpool, Andrew White, Senior Designer at BAE Systems, will talk on the history and science of flight.  Covering the major developments leading to flight today and a brief insight into what the future could hold.  There will also be an opportunity to test your own aerospace engineering skills and build your own model!

So come along to SciBar on Tuesday 7th June and find out more.  As always the audience will be welcome to give their own opinions and ask questions.  Remember there's no such thing as a silly question at SciBar!

Plus -  Voting is now underway for election of four representatives to the General Committee of the British Science Association…see details of the 10 candidates here and get voting!  Voting is open for members so if you’ve not already registered as a member, why not join?
