Graham Holland, the man behind the It's a Frog's Life podcast, the Liverpool Acoustic Podcast and co-hosts the Made in the UK music podcast has been busy - very busy from the looks of it- now he is going the whole frog sorry hog and appearing live at possibly the best acoustic music venue in the city - View Two on Mathew Street.
Late last year, Graham gave up some of his valuable time to contribute a weekly programme to the Art in Liverpool FM project which ran from September through to November. He is no stranger to producing great content tough, in fact he has been podcasting since July 2006 and has "enjoyed every minute of it" he says.
Preston FM has been doing a great job in the North West's third city. Built out of the 20 years of experience in arts and community projects from PRESCAP, Preston FM has had a great first 6 months.
If you start off serving the needs of the community in which you live and work as PRESCAP have done then it naturally follows that you will try and give the people a voice of their own and this is just what Preston FM has done. All of the ideas and talent comes from the local area with all sorts of community groups getting involved.
They offer full training in radio productions skills - even more reason to get involved. Or you could always give up some of your time each week as they are also seeking volunteers to help out. And maybe if you are looking for something more serious at the moment they are advertising for an assistant station manager
If you live in the area then retune that dial and pick up the real stories in your area, and if you live a little further away there is always Listen on line, and if you prefer your radio in bite size chuncks then they have a great range of podcasts available

This a wake up call for people who think the future won't happen to them. It happened to Jimmy Cappa (his stunt wife is just starting to relax), it happened to some ducks ('we'll celebrate Christmas if we have to') and it happened to Leslie, a very trusting woman; 'With the calming sound of Faust in the background I lobotomised the part of her brain that realised animals were real and not cartoon characters. She became more fun after that.' Also includes some headachey artwork and a full explanation for the Dale Street bomb craters.
