Jelly Liveprool is a freelancers dream. So if you have set up on your own these past few months then Jelly is a great place to meet and talk to like minded people who are also in the freelance sector. Jelly has all sorts of people that attend from designers, illustrators to hard nosed digital developers who like nothing more than setting up servers and building websites over coffee. Jelly has been running since 2010 and has seen hundreds if not thousands of people attend over the years and the benefits are substantial. Many who have attended have picked up contracts right from the other people that are there. But more about that later.
Ignite Liverpool is an evening event "Elighten me but make it quick" is the motto it goes by and it has seen hundreds of speakers give enlightening 5 minute talks over the past 5 years to thousands of people. It's like TEDx but for people who think faster.
Jelly Liverpool runs form 9am till 5pm upstairs at Leaf Cafe this Thursday the 8th January
Commission a Website: If you're looking to commission a website then Jelly is for you. There are about 20 web developers who attend on a regular (monthly) basis and can build anything from Wordpress, ecommerce, Joomla, Drupal and Jango sites probably plus many more.
But it's not just developers don;t forget there are a huge amount of ilustrators, designers, trainers and general web savvy people who attend - so whatever skill you are after you can find them at Jelly Liverpool.

Ignite Liverpool runs from 6pm through till 9pm again upstairs at Leaf cafe.
This Thursdays event takes place in the backdrop of what would have been Elvis's 80th Birthday so it's got a bit more of a Rock and Roll theme this time around. The theme will be giving the talks a slight theme as our speakers struggle to include a line from a famous Elvis track in each presentation.
The speakers come from various different disciples which invariably has no influence on what they are talking about..... but some of the highlights for Thursday include Video nasties and the art of hysteria, Facebook and their confusing relationships...., Motivation, the wines of Bordeaux and of course as it is Elvis night..... a quick five minute jaunt into the world of Elvis Impersonators.
Again Ignite is free to attend and most of all it's fun as there is often a free for all improvised talk at the end of the evening.
If you are looking to book then please check out the ticket form on the right of this article.
