If so, Madlab would like to invite you to join them at Madlab for the first Manchester game jam! Madlab will be hosting the event for the full weekend, so Manchester's community of nerds, artists and gamers can get together to design and code playable videogames from scratch in 48 hours (or less!) The jam will be over the weekend of the 21st and 22nd April, to coincide with the Ludum Dare global jam (ludumdare.com/compo).
Some people will be entering the full 48-hour Dare (which is a solo online contest with a few rules), and we'll also be running really fun quick-fire jams on both days, so people can drop in and out over the weekend. We're encouraging group efforts, so none-coders and beginners are all highly encouraged to team up and get stuck in. We'll also have the Larkin' About pervasive gaming experts in the house, and some board/card game folks too, so if you want to take your game idea off the screen and make it into something bigger then we have you covered.
From novice to ninja, everyone is welcome.
Tickets: £5
