Create an online events programme to promote your event

Triqle on screenEver wanted to create an online events programme that's accessible from any device? I have and invariably will again in the future and this looks like a perfect peice of software to allow you to share your programme across different platforms.

Triqle from Amsterdam have developed the software and who call the software What's on. It's not just conferences but festivals also, if you have a complex programme of any kind you'll be able to use this software once and your festival goers will be able to access it via a URL in any number of formats.

So how to send your Programme information from one source to all devices. You'll need to go to the Triqle website at http://www.triqle.eu/ and follow their simple instructions.

Step 1: create an account
Step 2: create your event
Step 3: General event info
Step 4: Social media settings
Step 5: entering your program information
Step 6: configure smart tags as filters
Step 7: match with your existing design

Being able to set up your own social media settings and your own branding will really assist you when promoting your events.

"Firstly, we give you a widget that you can embed into your website. Now, you might want to keep that to your control, just because your website has a display system for your events anyway. However, this comes in handy, when you want to make the information accessible on other websites. Also, the widget integrates with your social networks, centralising the information in one point.
Secondly, it prepares your event information for your Blackberry,AndroidiPhone and iPad. Here comes the added value for your conference and your festival. This gives you the main benefits of developing a mobile version of your site without the price tag.
Thirdly, it provides you with a version for large screens. This is your LCD display at the registration desk and in the canteen."

There are more photo's on the Triqle flikr site demonstrating where and how your event information might look. This is certaily going to be useful to us at Defnet Media with events that we are organising later in the year, most likely Open Source City which is stil in planning.

If you have used this software or know of any other that does a similar job then let us know below.

A big thanks to http://thorbengrosser.eu/page/2/ for pointing it out.
