Regular Maker nights in Liverpool

Maker Night is a regular meeting organised by Liverpool Hackspace in partnership with LJMU Art and Design Academy to provide a space for people to learn, experiment and work on projects related to…

  • Physical computing
  • Laser cutting
  • Arduino
  • Electronics
  • 3D printing

They’re informal, friendly events – sometimes one of the members will give a talk on a topic, or lead a workshop on how to build something in particular – but mostly it’s about building cool stuff and sharing expertise and enthusiasm.  Everyone is welcome, of any ability level – just don’t blame us when you end up spending more and more of your time tinkering with things…

Maker Night is held each month on the 3rd Wednesday, at Liverpool Art and Design Academy – (Directions), meeting at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start. We’ll be the crowd of people hanging around the cafe downstairs before we make our way into the fabrication lab where there is plenty of space for people to bring their own projects to work on, share ideas, get help or simply show off.

You might want to bring your laptop if you have one, particularly if you want to try out one of the Arduino kits that are normally on hand.

We have to be out of the ADA by 9:00pm on the night, at which point we will make our way to a near by pub for some post making drinks.
