This summer Milapfest brings you an unforgettable week of mindblowing performances and groundbreaking musical creations by superstars of Indian music!

A slightly hectic show this time as I finished off preparation at the very last minute. I don’t know why I always do it to myself. I’ll never learn. Anyway, there was the usual eclectic mix of music, laughs and another live performance. I hope you enjoy the show!

Be prepared this August to quake in your seaboots as Shiverpool’s new family tour will shiver your timbers and may leave you trembling!

A new nautical experience has been devised by the devious minds at Shiverpool, but this one is frighteningly family friendly. The theatrical tour has been created especially for children and provides body bags of entertainment with its fun and family interaction. For every adult brave enough to follow Long John Shiver and his crew can bring two child shipmates absolutely free. You’ll need someone to hold your hands, after all...

Photographer, musician and author Mike McCartney will judge the Show Your Beautiful Face Photography Competition, designed to capture the beauty of North Liverpool.

Mike, who has had the honour of having 11 of his photographs bought for the nation and exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery London, urged keen snappers of all ages and abilities to submit photographs capturing the beauty of North Liverpool - and gain the chance to win the grand prize of £500 and inclusion in the final winner’s exhibition.
