Anthony McCall's Column opens at the end of August on the Wirral

 columnTowering high into the sky the column of air will rise and rise above the Mersey Estuary. and will be visible from 60 Miles away, this is really going to be quite cool once it finally gets working. Here in a video interview Anthony discusses the project and how he started out creating pieces made of mist.

    Liverpool Art Prize nominations are open for only a couple more weeks for the Liverpool Art Prize 2013. In its sixth year, the annual competition is for artists born or based in the Liverpool City Region and is managed by Metal at Edge Hill Station.
    The fantastic prize of £2000 will be awarded to the winning artist, as well as provide them with an invitation for a solo exhibition at The Walker Art Gallery Liverpool. The winner of the People’s choice award decided by the public voting at the gallery for their choice will be awarded with £1000.
