Liverpool Acoustic and Sefton Park Palm House, in association with News From Nowhere and Radical Liverpool, are proud to present a very special evening celebrating subversion through music and magic on Saturday 10th November 2012 at Sefton Park Palm House.

Audio Voyeur and Rebel Soul present ‘A Culture Less Ordinary’- Progressive and eclectic music operating beyond the parameters of convention. As this is the season for hospitality, The Kazimier will be playing host to two very spatial acts for the listeners........

 Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival, the only festival of its kind in the UK, returns to the city from 6 - 15 July after a record 10^th year in 2011. With a packed programme of music, dance, performance, visual art, comedy, debates, talks, workshops, film, exhibitions and poetry - including many free events - this year’s festival promises to be bigger than ever.

Key events include a World Premiere at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on 15^th July from the Alif Ensemble and the play Rest Upon the Wind at Unity Theatre from veteran actor and writer Nadim Sawalha. Festival goers can also enjoy a breathtaking solo piece from ballet dancer Ayman Safiah at St Georges Hall on 14 July. The talented young dancer has been dubbed ‘The Arab Billy Elliot’ and has just been snapped up by dance guru Matthew Bourne’s company New Adventures.

Africa Oye is back this coming weekend and we are all hoping for good weather - I'll be dusting off my picknic blankets and getting the BBQ out and heading to Sefton Park for a fantastic weekend of Family Fun. I'll be sure to taste the delights of some of the best food stalls ever while soaking up some music from the UK's largest festival of African Music and Culture. 

Audio Voyeur and Rebel Soul present 'A Culture Less Ordinary' - Progressive and eclectic music from a culture operating beyond the parameters of convention.  Paddy Steer and his mothership will be landing in Liverpool for one night only. With support from Americans and DJ Audio Voyeur, the evening promises to be full of strange musical happenings and joyful noise.

Yep it is Pete "the god" Moser who is an awesome guy.

Ricky Spontane annouce gigs this December in Liverpool and London.

So good to see that Fats and Frank and Formby will be being performed again in the city of its birth namely Liverpool. 52 Catherine Street, the home of most of the band members at one point in time will be straining at its foundations to try and make it down to the gig at the Kazimier on Friday 9th.

I'm already dusting off my RS Tshirt and digging out my CD's to get them signed.
