Back in May Ernie Paniccioli called into our office with Mike Badger. Ernie had been over here for Liverpool Sound City, to launch his exhibition and for an in conversation style event with the godfather of hip hop, Afrika Bambaataa after a preview of his film The Other Side of Hip Hop.
I wasn't prepared for the interview but I'm not sure that mattered, as even I didn't want to hear my voice I just wanted to hear what Ernie had to say. I've pieced together Ernie's speech at the opening of his exhibition and then the chat we had in our office. The other people present are Ian and Mina Jackson from artinliverpool.com

It’s time for another Rathole Radio. This time I played my usual mix of eclectic styles and people said it was a “more relaxed” show, until I got to the thrash metal at the end of the show that is muwhahaha. I also played a live version of one of my favourite blues song, complete with Bee Gees falsetto vocals in parts, listen out for that. I hope you enjoy the show.
In a quick show this week we look ahead to this weekends Hub Festival at Otterspool Prom plus just what are they saying about the Picasso exhibtion

The first regular Rathole Radio in a month with the gig and everything else going on. It was good to be back in the saddle. I played an eclectic mix of music as always, chatted with people listening live and probably said “erm” too much. Normal service was resumed. I also played an exclusive live song I wrote years ago but which hasn’t really been heard in public before. Hope you enjoy it! Don’t forget to leave comments on the website, send emails and get involved.
