If so Friends of the Earth are hosting a short film competition this year to do just that -getting people thinking creatively about the environment during Liverpool's Year of the Environment 2009.
If you'd like to hear more, come along to the competition launch at FACT, Wood Street, on Thursday 7 May, from 5.30pm - 8pm
At the launch you can:
- watch entries from the Friends of the Earth UK 1 minute film competition 2008
- watch weblogs recorded at FACT in 2008, showing people from Liverpool giving their views on climate change
- meet others who are interested in the environment
- find out more about competition prizes, theme, and rules
The competition closing date for entry will be in October 2009.
Entries will be invited from everyone, young and old!
The event will be held jointly with Green Drinks, a social informal environmental networking group, which meets on the first Thursday of every month. These events are organised for people with an interest in the environment or sustainability to meet up and chat about issues and concerns with like-minded people, in a friendly atmosphere and with a glass in hand!
