Socialise your Media - Workshop
Find out
• How can cultural organisations use social networking technologies to engage with their audiences?
• Can blogging, poking and Twittering be more than just a way of showing you’re ‘down with the kids’?
• Could the explosion of new social media possibilities really get more people through the doors of our cultural venues?
They'll be asking all these questions and more at the first in a series of audience engagement workshops on Monday 16th March at FACT (the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) in Liverpool.
The programme will include a social media overview from Steve Fuller, Professor of Sociology at the University of Warwick; a look at how new media channels can help evaluate cultural impact; and a fast-paced ‘pecha kucha’ session packed full of inspirational projects that demonstrate ways in which social media can really boost audience engagement. There’ll be plenty of time for discussion, debate and networking, as well as an optional evening dinner. For the latest programme information, go to
