Future Everything - This week and next

The FutureEverything Festival is just around the corner in fact there are festival related events taking place now. Plus there will be a huge amount of activity across Manchester for what is the foremost Arts and technology event outside of London. Now in its umteenth year Future Everything really does have something for everyone and if you have never been before you should go, either to experience the artwork across the city, the conference or the workshops. Below are some workshop highlights - we have limited capacity, so advanced signup is highly recommended.

Punchcard Economy: Free Workshop

Translate your work patterns into knitting patterns with artist Sam Meech, each misplaced stitch represents work done outside of the 8 hour ‘contract’. Log your hours and create a knitted punchcard representing your working week. Find out more

How to CoGet: Free Workshop

A fun public experiment in the city streets. Objects control people’s movements by predicting where they need to be, and borrowing the legs of a human to move them. Find out more
