Do as Matt Booth does, the web designer come event organiser who upon feeling a bit left out in the cold and wanting to talk to others about his design practice decided to set up a regular event where web workers like himself could meet, talk and disucss the erudite matters pertaining to web design.

He launched BLAB many moons ago and coming up is the 17th event (going by the number after BLAB) and so tickets for the first one of 2014 have gone on sale at a remarkable price of £12 for their event on the 17th Feb. Buy them here.

As usual they have a fantastic, varied line-up, featuring their first female BLAB speaker (they've had lots of female BLABMini speakers we ae informed), creative director and founder of Soapbox & Sons (soapboxandsons.com), Jenny Theolin. Jenny will be joined by illustrator, art director and designer Sam Gilbey (samgilbey.com).
