ROUNDUP
Ian's roundup - Slow Magic opened at the Bluecoat - excellent. Went to Slow Magic artist Vincent Falsetta's talk on the Saturday. Fab Collective at St Lukes also excellent - but closed now till 20 August due to unforeseen circumstances. Music on the Waterfront - good but they got soaked on the Friday. Well organised, good crowds and it is believed that The Star of Tennantspin John McGuirk sang. Ian missed Brouhaha parade but saw the Samba Parade (videos on youtube)

Exhibition of George Harrison memorabilia in St George's Hall until mid sept., really needs a permanent home like Lennon, McCartney. Revolver (not beatles related) at Bluecoat Barber Shop - curated by James Quin, 4 artists, separate shows. Canal Taxi and Swan Pedaloes at Bootle Canal at weekends, very nice but Taxi not always in service both from the Liverpool Biennial.

Also on the watefront we saw James May recording his Toy Story programme  - building a Meccano bridge over the new canal extension and also we had a go on the new Yellow Boat cruise around the docks - run by the DuckMarine people.
