Round up of the week

Interesting artists talk at the Bluecoat last week, last related to Next Up, featured Sean Hawkridge and Jay Yung talking about being global artists. More talks or 'slams' from 20 artists at the A Foundation, very entertaining but very cold, a mix of serious presentations, stand-up comedy with slides and a bit of debate. More to come at Afoundation. Fashion Versus Sport opened at the Walker last week - interesting. Great and weird designs from top designers incl Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith (snowboard) and Chanel fishing bag! Collections (or part of) from various obsessives. No idea as to the size of the trainers!
