Mr. Tim Hill is a supreme saxophonist and composer. Based these days in the wilds of the west country, his regular band, Tongues of Fire, are a gloriously abandoned outfit specialising in music for outdoor events.
Returning to Lost Voices (after far too long!), Tim will be presenting a welcome reprise of his fabulous music for the recent Halloween Lantern Show in Sefton Park, featuring an all-star band including the cream of Liverpool’s musical talent - Lost Voices pianist, Jonathan Raisin, and the rhythm section of great Liverpool band, the Wizards of Twiddley; Carl Bowry – guitar, Andy Frizell – bass, and Andy Delamere – drums.
As well as the full band set expect some solo adventures (Carl Bowry with guitars and loops – not to be missed!) and spontaneous collaborations!!
Lost Voices Promoting the spirit of the eclectic, Lost Voices nights are an intoxicating blend of the strange, the wonderful and the strangely familiar- from cabaret song to experimental jazz, from classical minimalism to an old folk song.
Regular nights are the last Thursday of the month at View Two Gallery and feature a programme of local, national and international acts…
As always, expect the unexpected and you won’t be disappointed…
