Since forming in 2008, Letters in Red (RACHEL SPARX - vocals, WILL BINDEN - guitar, mandolin & piano, CAMILLIA WILSON - violin & viola & CHRISTOPHER WOOD - guitar & percussion), have forged their own path on Liverpool's unsigned circuit, their open and fluid musical approach endearing them to fans new and old. Feel Me is the band's debut single from their forthcoming album Everything Crash and demonstrates the bands unique approach to mixing up folk, electronica, alternative rock & classical.
Letters in Red appeared at the Liverpool SoundCity festival and are embarking on a tour of Ireland in July.
The release of Feel Me marks 2009 as a year of progression for Letters in Red, building on the successes of 2008, which included:
- Awarded 'Band of the Year, 2008' at the Liverpool Irish Festival.
- Featured band in the Beat Goes On, an exhibition at the Liverpool World Museum exploring Liverpool's rich and proud musical history.
- The establishing of 'Letters in Red host HOMEGROWN' at 3345 in the Parr Street Studios complex. This regular live music event showcases the best in local acoustic talent.
