the Rathole Radio website right now. It's sure to be quite unlike any other gig you've ever seen before and it will be the start of something unique.
Bad Format Social Club in Liverpool will see the first ever RatholeRadio.org gig.  A celebration of the connections between music, technology, cyberculture and politics in our 21st century world. Maintaining the eclectic and interesting mix of musical styles the podcast is known for. There will also be live message walls and Internet streams to seamlessly link the online audience with people actually inside the venue, complete with a robotic audience member and a chance to vote on the songs you want to hear, whether you're in Liverpool or Liechtenstein.

Tickets are £5 in advance and can be bought from ratholeradio.org/gig

Check out the line up:

David Rovics
David Rovics is from Massachusetts. Writes incredibly perceptive, intelligent, incisive, angry songs, sung quietly and tunefully to a supremely accomplished acoustic guitar backing: the heir to the mantle of Pete Seeger and Phil Ochs. He tours constantly, has a growing following round the world and in the UK, among many other things, has done two sessions on Andy Kershaw’s Radio 3 show in the course of previous tours with Attila.- DavidRovics.com

In these days of ongoing neo-conservatism he carries
the torch of dissent and protest – in fact if the great Phil Ochs were to come back from the dead tonight he’d probably be hailed as the new David Rovics’ – (Andy Kershaw)

Atilla The Stockbroker
Atilla The Stockbroker is from Brighton and this year celebrates his 30th anniversary as Attila, having done about 2700 gigs in 21 countries from music and literature festivals in Britain, Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia to punk squats in Germany and a hotel basement in Stalinist Albania! He writes angry, poignant, impassioned and occasionally downright silly poems and songs on a wide variety of
subjects: he’s also a fiddle player and will be joining David for a few songs. - AttilaTheStockbroker.com

‘Whether he’s ranting a poem or bashing out a song, there’s
something magnificent about Attila in full flight’ - (Ian
McMillan, BBC Radio 4)

Also featuring live sets from Rathole host
Dan Lynch, Reflect Harmony Group, The Lone Gunmen, DJs and guests.
