It's Friday 13th May 2011 today, and while Liverpool Acoustic are not at all superstitious they do think music lovers everywhere would be rather unlucky to miss the Liverpool Acoustic eXtra event at the View Two Gallery on Mathew Street.
So come along, leave your horseshoes at the door, grab a drink from the bar, and enjoy four sets of great acoustic music from the best that the local scene has to offer.
- Nick Ellis is the lead singer of Liverpool band The Maybes, and will be treating us to a rare solo gig
- Sense of Freedom are a local rock band who have put together an uplugged acoustic session just for us
- The Southbound Attic Band are old favourites at the View Two with songs of the riverbank, and tales from distant lands
- John Holmes has hosted a number of music events over the years and is an accomplished musician and songwriter
Doors open at 8.00pm, and the music starts at 8.30pm and goes through to 11.00pm
