It all starts at 10.30am, with a ceremonial cleaning of the street, by Bold St Traders, Volunteers,and Ropewalks Stakeholders accompanied by Liverpool Samba School, the Hung Gar Kung Fu Chinese Lion Dance team and Sonic Anarchists Urban Strawberry Lunch. The Festival runs from 12noon to 5pm (ish).
There'll be the Liverpool Samba band, Movema Dance Company's workshops, Urban Canvas' Pavement Art Competition, the 'Smallest Nightclub' World Record Attempt, Tai Chi demonstration and workshop, Urban Strawberry Lunch participatory drumming, a giant communal Push Poem Machine by Windows Poetry, a DJ/Sound System stage, the Cleaver Sisters folk-ish walkabout (don't ask), City Rickshaws' free rides from Liverpool 1 to Bold St, the Summer Exhibition/Craft Market at CentralVillage, stilt-walkers, barbecues, face-painting, Rickshaws, Ice-cream ... and goodness knows what else.
In addition most shops and cafes will have entertainment, food-tasting, and special offers.

Frakture’s All Dayer Impro day, is an informal audio-slide-show lasting 6 hours on Sunday 26th September, offering a sonic delights to the ambient world of inner city Liverpool . On that Sunday drawing on musicians artists from within Liverpool and beyond, mixing up art forms, this ALL DAYER IMPRO day explores improvisation, its nature and practice, featuring a creative range of artists that are diverse, exciting, and unique: this is a once in a moment experience.
During the audio-slide-show you can expect the formality of group play, informal spontaneous collaborations and non-formal foolery: but don’t be misled! This display and array of creative practice flavoured with human:inter-action will take you to undiscovered places…….means of transport: your senses….
