Social Media Cafe Liverpool is back and this time it's audio that gets all the attention and rightly so.
Static Gallery on Roscoe Lane will once again host SMCliv on Thursday April 19th where they will be offering an evening exploring the growing use of audio within Social Media. Looking at online audio platforms, podcasting and the uses of audio for business development.
A panel of three experts will present on their areas of specialism in audio and social media, be that marketing, journalism, writing, teaching or music. The forum will then be opened out to the floor for a more general discussion and Q&A session.
Another Rathole Radio is upon and this one is a bumper edition. 71mins to be precise. I must have felt more chatty or something, hard to see how that’s possible. This was broadcast on Mother’s Day here in the UK but I didn’t have a special song for that. Instead I performed a folk song to celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Saturday. I hope you enjoy the show.
A slightly overdue Rathole Radio this time. I missed the live show on Sunday unfortunately due to exhaustion, so I recorded this show offline instead. I skipped the live song but I did manage to cram in a bumper selection of eclectic music as always. Normal service will be resumed next time I promise.
Rathole Radio 66 is upon us, just like winter seems to be. So wrap up warm, get the chicken soup on the go and tap your feet to my eclectic selection of tunes. There’s a live acoustic blues performance. Apologies for messing up the mp3 download of the last show. It was cutting off halfway through.

Welcome to Rathole Radio number 65. It’s hard to believe we’ve reached 65 already but there it is. I played my usual mix of eclectic independent tunes and chatted away with everyone listening live. I skipped playing an acoustic tune as we had a packed show anyway. I hope you enjoy it

Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I’m sixty four? That’s right Rathole Radio number 64 is upon us. I got most of the tracks from Jamendo this time and they’re full of Creative Commons goodness, plus marrowbone jelly. Ok, no marrowbone jelly but have a listen anyway. You might enjoy them. I also reprised a live version of “Stringman” by Neil Young.

Everyone is mixing it up bigtime - Take that track, mix it see what comes out the other end. Artist are even taking raw streams of data and turning them into compostions with enhaced visuals to entertain the eyes. We've got soundcloud, audioboo, mixcloud, mixtape and we share it everywhere. The team will be gathering on Friday 25th November and your invited.
Watch out here comes Rathole Radio number 63, peeking out from behind the bushes. We had a great time chatting on Sunday night and I was pleased to exclusively play a new 20lb Sounds studio track for everyone. I also sang one of my favourite songs live and shared my usual blend of eclectic music.

The 62nd edition of Rathole Radio is upon us. This time I played my usual eclectic mix of music and also performed a rather interesting live song. My impression of Brad Roberts low singing style went astray in parts but should make for an entertaining listen. So settle in and enjoy the music.
