Coffee Monkey

Coffee Monkey

We called into Mankey Monkey HQ (Hanover St) last week and its looking amazing. So many strange looking monkeys, still many to be completed and only a few days before they’ll be sent out to their sponsors. If you want to help over the weekend I’m sure the Mankey Monkey Ambassadors will be delighted, they’re there every day from noon until the evening. Its a really fun project responding to the Go Penguins and raising money for the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal. They are receiving a lot of attention not just from sponsors and the media but from everyone who passes the HQ building, they all stop to look and laugh.

ROUNDUP

Heralding in the New Year we have an exhibition of etchings, linocuts and screen prints by six artists living locally. They are
Ann Beare, Gill Curry, Mike Hatjoullis, Grace Horne, Eileen Summers and Lisa Who.  Over the past year this group has travelled a long way together to explore a very wide range of approaches to print, also journeying as individuals across the world and back.
