We're back and this time we are semi-serious - What I mean is Ian is back from Japan where he has been for the past 2 weeks and he had we had a fantastic time - Lots of good weather, cherry blossom and art too. Went to 2 art fairs and a few galleries including the MORI Art Museum on the 53rd floor! which has excellent exhibition - The Kaleidoscopic Eye.
The new seasonal guide for Apr - june is out with all the arts lisitings, many Environment events of course.
The Liverpool.com mag has closed down, staff redundant. A shame as it was quite a good mag and of course included an arts page edited by Ian Jackson of artinliverpool.com. Sometimes there seems like too many free mags now there may be a gap - can anyone afford the costs of printing a decent listings mag?

Dot Art exhibition in Queen Ave., finishes this friday. And another Elizabeth Willow exhibition opened last Saturday, this is at the Lark Lane Atelier and is called Flights of Fancy.
At LCAD, exhib by Jane Adams and at Ceri Hand Gallery the Matthew Houlding exhibition 'Sons of Pioneers' opened.
Jason Jones 'Self Observed' at Cornerstone ends this Friday - don't miss it.

EVENT: The Huge Entity
FRIDAY 24 April, 13.00 - 15.00 at BBC Big Screen, Clayton Square.
The Huge Entity is an interactive installation by Sam Meech, created specially for the Big Screen as part of MOVES 09. It uses the movement of the public to create vapor-trails of colour that reflect and distort their journey through the space.

The award-winning, Wiltshire furniture designer will unveil new work and reveal how his ideas are made manifest in this Crafts Study Centre’s (CSC) first touring exhibition. Exhibition details

Artists and creatives based at the Bluecoat reveal how they work and encourage visitors to have a go themselves.
The Seal Cub Clubbing Club will launch their debut album, Super Science Fiction at a special FREE outdoor gig at the City’s ‘Rockscape’ amphitheatre, Renshaw Street on Saturday 25 April, 12 Noon – 4pm.
The event will see the band playing songs from the new album with ‘support’ from a host of local literary talent and The Reader Organisation, to promote the band’s interest in reading and creative writing.”
The Seal Cub Clubbing Club will be performing with a number of special guests, including: up and coming short story writer, ZOE LAMBERT, legendary Wirral Horror writer, RAMSEY CAMPBELL and a special guest to be announced.
