Tmesis Theatre embark on their biggest and most innovative collaboration to date with the upcoming tour of The Dreadful Hours which premieres at the Liverpool Everyman from 11th – 13th Feb 2010 and also to the Studio at the Manchester Royal Exchange from 3rd – 6th Mar 2010.
Picture the scene.
A group of local teenagers from Garston write a script at their local internet centre and, with help from a couple of top movie producers, they shoot the film around Liverpool and suddenly find themselves the toast of Hollywood. The twist? This is not a movie. This is real life.

Celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the city - with each page packed with significant dates from Merseyside's recent or not so recent past, along with inspiring images.
The image here taken at the pier head where it appears that youngsters from across the city were protesting against Maggie Thatcher. I wonder why? This is the first time that TVS has found a home online and it's only after we were asked to edit it on behalf of pulishers Enterprise Marketing and Publishing Services Ltd, that's a bit of a mouthful.

As part of the AND festival Small Cinema showed a range of video's from artists work to suitable children's shorts. This is the second time this fantastic cinema has appeared in the city- the first time I had heard of the project was at the View Two gallery as part of a day long festival.
I still haven't made it to see this project so this video goes a little way to show what it is like. You can keep up with what and where it is going next here at Re-Dock.

Tales from Haunted Liverpool will be performed by some of Liverpool’s best loved actors who will take you on a journey into Liverpool's dark supernatural world bringing the characters of past and present to life.
