RatholeRadio 53 – 29th May 2011

Rathole RadioIt’s time for another Rathole Radio and together with my usual eclectic mix of tunes I also have a fabulous guest. Fit & The Conniptions AKA Wayne Myers joins us live to talk about music, Linux, funny names and more. I had some technical problems getting him on the line but once I’d got some more coal in the furnace we were away. Enjoy!

RatholeRadio 52 – 15th May 2011

Rathole RadioGuess who’s back? Back in the studio and back to a more regular show at last. This might be the most eclectic Rathole Radio ever. There’s a bit of everything in here, well it feels like it anyway. So put your feet up, get comfy, grab yourself a drink and dig in.

RatholeRadio 49 – April 3rd 2011

ratty

The penultimate Rathole Radio before the gig on April 24th in Liverpool. Nerves are starting to rise but the main problem I had this week was the loss of hearing in one ear. I did the show with one ear but wasn’t feeling up to a live track I’m afraid. I was pleased to announce that we’ll be joined next time by fellow podcaster and musician Nick Tann though, listen out for that on April 17th. I also played some great tracks of varying styles for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!

RatholeRadio 48 – 22nd Mar 2011

Rathole Radio is on the loose again and nobody is safe! This time I played my usual eclectic mix of styles and waffled on in a seemingly never ending conversation with myself. I also remembered my guitar this time and played my version of the classic “Many Rivers To Cross” by Jimmy Cliff. What a seminal tune it is. There’s plenty of news about the Rathole Radio gig to dig your teeth into as well. I hope you enjoy the show.

RatholeRadio 47 – 6th Mar 2011

rattyTime for another Rathole Radio and this time I played a nice range of music. It encompassed everything from jazz to blues and electro to rock. Most of these tunes came from Jamendo and are also Creative Commons licensed which I encourage. There’s also a live recording of me playing with 20lb Sounds earlier this year.

RatholeRadio 46 – 20th Feb 2011

Welcome to another Rathole Radio. I was back in the UK this time and back to a live broadcast. Many people joined me in the chat room and we had a good time. I played my usual eclectic mix of tunes and some listeners described the selection this time as “relaxed”. You can decide for yourself. I also gave my rendition of “Long May You Run” by Neil Young.

RatholeRadio 45 – Feb 6th 2011

Welcome to another Rathole Radio. This show was originally broadcast on Sunday February 6th thanks to my good friend Herbie Green, but it was pre-recorded. I was away in Brussels during the time of the show but managed to line up a special interview with Nerdcore legend MC Frontalot. I also played my newest song inspired by events in Egypt. I hope you enjoy the show.

RatholeRadio 44 – 23rd Jan 2011

Rat Hole radioJust when you thought it was safe… another Rathole Radio surfaces! This time I play my usual mix of eclectic music by the best independant and Creative Commons artists. We’ve got some Sourthern Rock, some electro, some jaunty jazz, some Nerdcore and plenty more besides. I also give my rendition of one of my favourite songs, “Mr Jones” by Counting Crows, complete with suspect guitar tuning and the occasional wrong chord. Well at least it proves it’s live. Hope you enjoy the ride.
