Liverpool's creative developement agency ACME are launching the brand new network in September. OK it has the same name as the old Liverpool network but we are promised something brand new and a bit more function than the old site, as it has been built from the ground up by Design Agency Splinter. I should know I helped with the user testing, so I hope they took my advice. 

Yes, ACME has been busy reinventing this unique site that promotes Liverpool's creative community, and it will soon be ready for creatives to update their profile and portfolio, and re-connect with others and with your Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn accounts.

Arts Jobs: The Reader requires RISE coordinator

Interesting Opportunity in Liverpool - The RISE Coordinator will work internally with TRO regional and specialist managers, Communications Team and with literature festivals and others to develop a model that enables festivals/organisations to meet their CSR aims by: taking shared reading into secure settings, e.g. prisons, acute mental health settings, pupil referral units; to arrange author visits from festivals, into those settings; with the aim of increasing attendance at TRO’s shared reading groups and raising the profile of TRO in secure and public settings.

Writer in Residence Opportunity

Writing on the Wall is seeking to appoint a Writer in Residence for two days per week. The contract will run until March 2013 though it may be extended subject to funding. The Writer in Residence will lead on a number of community based creative writing projects, engaging diverse and often ‘hard to reach’ groups and individuals.
