The weight of Archangel Michael’s stare

I really hate having to describe myself and what I do or have done. What ever I write it never feels right. I’ve given up on buzz word bingo such as this statement from somewhere sometime ago.

Specialist in Digital Strategy, Innovation and web-based solutions. Works at the edges of digital media education and creates networks through collaboration that manifesting themselves in public-friendly events. Looks at breaking the psychological barriers that people build around technology, through finding fun hands-on approaches for young and old. Engages with community groups, arts organisations and national charities, assisting them to reach out to their audiences through thinking differently about the work that they do.

Now, or at least at this time I can be a little more human about it.

Neil is a digital includer and works mostly within the Arts and Charity sector. He worked in Comms for Arts Council England and a number of small to medium scale arts organisations, contributed to transnational research projects on Employment and Financial mechanisms, but has also “performed” in Operas and other artsy things.
He produces Ignite Liverpool, a community event where the public are invited to present on a subject they are passionate about, it has been running for the past ten years in a bid to fight cultural stagnation, spark ideas and create new collaborations.
During lockdown, when desk bound he fills his day building websites for clients and engaging in Zoom roulette. When he is away from his desk he will be found on his allotment wondering where he put his trowel.
I am hoping my soul feels a little lighter to Archangel Michael in the 2nd statement say the non believer.
