Art in Liverpool FM - volunteer reporters wanted

reports soughtDefnet Media and artinliverpool.com are offering a unique opportunity to take part in an exciting new project. For two weeks during the Liverpool Biennial 20 September - 20 November, Defnet Media will be producing and presenting downloadable audio, which will include daily updates, interviews, performance recordings, reviews, artist talks, drama and sound art – Art in Liverpool FM plans to inform and entertain.  

If you are interested in being one of our reporters then Art in Liverpool FM wants to hear from you - we want to you produce audio content to be featured on Art in Liverpool FM. 

What we are looking for?  

- artists talks
- interviews
- audio guides to gallery spaces or exhibitions
- reviews of shows or events
- or be adventurous and create a programme!
- drama 

Experience!  - Although not essential it helps!   

What equipment do you need.  

1. an audio recorder
This could be a minidisk, a laptop with built in microphone, an ipod or other DAT/MP3 recorder. Anything as long as it will record sound and those sound files are easily transferable to a computer.

2. a computer with internet access preferably broadband

You will need to upload your finished sound files to our web server, so internet access is essential.
