Welcome to another live edition of Rathole Radio. I was asked back to do another show at the Nerve Centre in Liverpool (that doesn’t happen often hehe), I was happy to oblige of course. This time I brought my band 20lb Sounds and we rocked the place with drums and bass. I hope you enjoy it.

Download Mp3 - Download Ogg - Apologies for the slightly poorer sound quality than usual, this was due to the live setting.

  • 00:00 – Public Enemy – Say It Like It Really IsLicense Unknown – There are also instrumental and acapella versions of this track available free from SLAMjamz.com

That PISO group I played last time are Italian and not Spannish, language FAIL! I’m an ignorant Englishman.

  • 15:06 – Hungry LucyThe Standing OnesCC BY-SA Licensed – got an email from a member of the group, Warren. Liked this track a lot and even bought it from Bandcamp. They have their own podcast and seem very net-savvy. Great to see them supporting CC.
  • 19:51 – Lab7 – Artifical MadnessCC BY-SA Licensed

Check out the new Software Freedom Day 2010 mix CD at RatholeRadio.org. Download it, burn it, share it with friends.

  • 31:46 – Palmyra – Pink Planes – License Unknown

My band 20lb Sounds Live!!

  • 34:49 – Our version of “Tin Soldier” by The Small Faces. – Probably Copyright to the original record company. Shh ;)
  • 38:45 – 20lb Sounds – an original song called “Liar”. No proper recording of this yet sorry, it’s in the pipeline. – CC BY-SA Licensed
  • 41:38 – Professor Kliq – Work At Night – CC BY-NC-SA Licensed taken from his Movements EP.

Friend and fan of the show @mjjzf posted this rather amazing video of young Matthias listening to the show all the way from New York. This was posted right after we finished playing. I love it! Possible future guitarist or drummer there.
