So are you interested in getting involved in all the work of Defnet Media, be that writing reviews, helping organise events designing posters, etc etc .

I started off with just an interest with getting a friend to start podcasting on his site but a couple of years down the line I’ve  recorded hundreds of hours of audio, ran an online audio project, organised numerous events, built this website and many more, run a community network for creative technologists all of it on a voluntary basis. I’m in the process of setting How Why DIY up as a Community Interest Company , organising a music conference in April plus much more. And would really think it is about time I got some help with it all as there is lots of work to be done and not enough hours in the day.

n

So if you are looking for an outlet for your creative talents, be that writing, designing and becoming part of a bigger network of activity then let us know. It would only be on a voluntary basis but it would look really good on your CV and  stop the boredom of everyday life. So you could be writing theatre reviews, reviews art exhibition, films or music and post them directly to the site yourself

n

We are looking with others to set up a streaming online radio service so maybe that would be of more interest or maybe it’s getting involved in an innovative music unconference taking place in April   Whatever you are interested in doing then get in touch.

It’s my own personal history project stretching back to 2007 – with hundreds of recorded interviews, podcasts and plays. This section of the site is pretty old so don’t expect it to work all the time and ignore it asking for Real Player to be loaded.

    So Listener beware!!!

Take you pick from a selection of Liverpool audio guides, its musical history, heritage tours, slavery remembrance tours, and Visit England’s official guide.
