Just a very quick post mainly to get me back in the mood for posting more often and so to remind me how – that’s a bit of a lie as I post nearly every day just not here but i digress. I am going to try and get back in the mood to revitalise this site.
So it has gone through a bit of a major move – it was complicated and it was hard and messy as I just wanted the older site dead but wanted to retain the content. Not the best way to do things. But I am now importing content, correcting errors etc. This will probably take some time but ho-hum. The idea of taking the content out of Joomla and importing it into WordPress is as it is the medium in which I work every day and never use Joomla now, so it was becoming a uphill battle to keep the old site upto date.
The end result is meant to be that this becomes a news site (ranting) – naw only joking about that but there are loads of really good things going on and I am constantly letting friends know about via whatsapp etc and fancied somewhere i could just post to then send them a link.
I will be scrapping the old Blog site also as I won’t need it and can post here instead. Although i just opened it and my heart swelled a little.
The other bit is that I hope this will drive traffic from here to the other platforms I have my hosting, designing websites and just plain old Digital services site.
So I will be posting more and more. I will try and do a detailed breakdown of what I have done for you as you might be interested.
