Open Labs are delighted to confirm Andrew Tyrer from the Technology Strategy Board as Keynote speaker at  Future Cities – Internet of Things and Open Data Symposium (FIOS 2014) on  26th February 2014 .  This event is an opportunity for those interested in the development of Future Cities infrastructure services and potential value chains. The internet of Things and open data will provide the basis for the next generation of services driving down the cost of information provision within Local Authorities whilst providing additional services to citizens and business.   Registrationessential for this FREE event.

Dart Programming Language…. In partnership with developer communities around the world, Google are launching a series of “Dart Flight Schools” to help people get hands on experience with the programming language they have developed internally. DoES Liverpool will be hosting two events: An introduction to Dart, an evening of talks to help you discover what Dart is all about, and CodeLab where you can get hands on experience. Insider is delighted to announce the launch of the  2014 North West Young Professionals Awards. The event, which builds on a ten-year presence in the young professionals market, is set to cover the entire region for the second time, with entries invited from Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Cumbria and Lancashire.
