Have you got a Passion for Science or Engineering?

n

Can you explain the complex in a way that entertains and engages your audience?

n

Then FameLab is just for you. FameLab is inviting scientists, mathematicians and engineers across the UK to take part in its flagship science communications competition.

n n

The Liverpool Heat of Famelab takes place on 27th January at John Moores University and you could be taking part.

n

Contestants have just 3 minutes to convey a scientific concept of their choice and  will be judged by leading researchers, media personalities and science policy makers on the content, clarity and charisma of their presentation.

n

n

The UK winner receives £1000 cash prize and £750 to spend on a science communication activity and goes on to compete against over 25 other contestants from around the world at The Times Cheltenham Science Festival in June 2016.

n

The Liverpool Heat is in a couple of weeks time and it could be you heading to Cheltenham for the final.

It’s my own personal history project stretching back to 2007 – with hundreds of recorded interviews, podcasts and plays. This section of the site is pretty old so don’t expect it to work all the time and ignore it asking for Real Player to be loaded.

So Listener beware!!!

Take you pick from a selection of Liverpool audio guides, its musical history, heritage tours, slavery remembrance tours, and Visit England’s official guide.
