Call out for Ignite Liverpool presenters

ignite_logo_tinyIgnite Liverpool is set to launch it's 3rd and possibly most spectacular event yet.

These are open, simple and short sessions where presenters share their personal and professional passions, using 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds.

This is the third Ignite Liverpool event to take place this year

Meeting monthly the group is open to everyone who wishes to attend and is FREE. Yes FREE - and promises to be FUN. So if those expensive seminars are not for you then come and join us at the Social Media Cafe Liverpool.

The evening promises to be "A fun, informal (but informing!) and free evening of discussion and socialising for everyone interested in social media. Whether you are newly interested in the digital world, or are already a confirmed social media junky, come and be informed, inspired and share your knowledge and experience."

Chaosmos a non-profit making arts initiative in Warrington, with an interest in the research, development and production of multi-media and digital technology are calling for old computers. For 2010 and 2011, Chaosmos is organising the assemblage of a render farm for professional upcoming artists and graduates to access to enable the development of art in digital media.

The forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend promises to be an excellent opportunity to listen to some great tunes and share your culture at Ogg Camp at the Black-E.

On Friday night Bad Format Social Clubin Liverpool, will kick off the weekend in style with live music from David Rovics, Attila The Stockbroker and Rathole Radio host (and Linux Outlaw)Dan Lynch , among other guests.
