The Horror Series

Written by

This track contains all three audio files: Priest, Stalk and Childkiller. Performed by Mike Field, Julie Jones and Neil Morrin. Written by Paul Tarpey of Defnet Media, performed at MuseumMan, 68 Rodney Street, Liverpool.  Additional audio a.P.A.t.T - www.apatt.com

Each of the 3 tracks have been published separately on this site so you can listen separately on iTunes.

Background

These stories emerged from a conversation with a.P.A.t.T, who had been looking to set up a performance of ghost stories with a different musician in different rooms of a house. We started to work together on a project where people would wander around the house and hear and see a different story within each room.

The works originally were intended to add flavour and atmosphere alongside video and music. If you walked into the room you would hear, not a story, just fragments of someones life and fears.

The limits of space and time meant that it became a  performance in one situation, so they had to develop into stories with varying success.

They were performed with music from a.P.A.t.T and video from Adam and Tamasine Seibold in March 2006 at MuseumMan Gallery, 68 Rodney Street, which is no longer with us sadly.
