After a couple of really successful events for Thinking Digital including Manchester last year and London only last month - Thinking Digital have announced its first round of speakers for #TD2016 Newcastle on 10/11 May?
#TD2016 is taking place in the North East, Gateshead to be precise and it is the granddaddy of them all, highlighting Technology, Ideas and our future and is aimed primarily at the Digital Sector although it draws in a great deal of public sector visitors who are seeking to expand their knowledge and looking for new ways to think about their practice.
Liverpool SciBar announce Grown your own house as the theme for their next SciBar on Tuesday 3rd May. Next week, working in partnership with the Royal Society, SciBar are lucky to have Professor Pete Walker from the University of Bath. He will be discussing the use of natural building materials as a green and healthy alternative to traditional solutions.
Open Labs and the team at Sensor City have pulled together a workshop focused on exploring the capabilities and potential developments in modern sensor systems applied to the Automotive / Land Transport sector.
The eHealth Cluster brings together a wide range of disparate groups with an interest in eHealth. The cluster brings groups of complementary organisations together to learn from each other, be aware of how other groups work and use local skills and resources much more effectively, making the most of the opportunities in eHealth for all concerned. There is scope to develop so much more cluster working in the complex and challenging world of eHealth.

The Developer Breakfast is the Liverpool chin-wag hosted in order to share experiences, vent constructively and naturally build a Liverpool community of developers, creatives, designers and technically-minded entrepreneurs.
Bringing together people from across the tech, education and any other sector you can shake a stick at, Ignite aims to inspire you with enlightening talks delivered quick. And it does just that, this time around it will be 13 fast paced talks presented while the clock is ticking and their slides are changing.
“How magnetic tape changed the world” which is sure to appeal to the Geeks and the Musos’ alike will be presented by local DJ Bernie Connor while other talks will amuse and intrigue - Weird Sex and Why I hate Chris Brown!!
And don't forget the 1 minute Pitching session, which allows people with projects or ideas on the go to step forward and tell the crowd about their ideas.
