I took a walk down to the Albert Dock some time ago now and noticed all of the padlocks that were stretching along the chains at the front. Some were large and some were small, but each had a couples name on them.

It may not have been the first time that I had seen these, maybe I had thought there was some sort of nautical connection – a place to tie a boat or maybe for security when there are so many events on down at the dock. but it was certainly the first time that it sunk in what they actually were.They are really cute so forget the marriage and just get a big hefty lock for yourself.
