Get your friends to pay for Christmas.

Paying for Christmas can be an expensive affair but luckily now you can get your friends or business page likers to pay for it, as Amazon launch share on Facebook. Who hasn’t dreamt about cutting down on the costs or at least spreading them around a little further at Christmas time. Those turkeys don’t come cheap more like going gobble gobble

The idea of getting my friends to pay towards their gifts has often appealed to me and you but now it can become a reality.  So read on…

Signing up for an Amazon affiliate account is easy and you should have done it years ago to reap the rewards of your many thousands of visitors to the website you have slaved over.

Dear Associate,

In preparation for Christmas we will be sending a series of emails to remind you about some of the tools that the Amazon.co.uk Associates programme provides for you to use on your website. This edition will focus upon our Associates Site Stripe.

We are excited to announce the expansion of our ‘Share on’ feature to Facebook. You can access Share on Facebook from the Site Stripe and share Amazon links with your Facebook friends or on your Facebook pages from Amazon pages in just two clicks.

The Share on Facebook feature is easy to use, simply log in to your Amazon Associates account and then visit any page on Amazon.co.uk. Clicking on the Share on Facebook button in the Site Stripe will open a new window and a summary of the linked page will be pre-populated in the “Share this link” page. That message will include the product image, title, description and a URL that already includes your Associates ID.

After activating, the Site Stripe will appear at the top of every Amazon page and provides quick and easy access for building links, adding products to your aStore and even seeing your reports. It also has handy short-cuts to some other useful Associates pages. The Associates Site Stripe is a convenient alternative to using some of the Associate Central linking and reporting tools. Here are some of the Site Stripe features:

Quick and easy link building while browsing Amazon
Short-cuts to Associates news and reports
Share on Twitter and Facebook
Completely compatible with Product Links

Enough of that – what you need to do now is to start posting those links to your Facebook pages and sharing your businesses cultural interests with those who follow you.  Some may think that this is quite a cheesey way to make money for your business but at the same time your customers are interested in you as a cultural organisation and they want to share your cultural interests to.

So recommend books, DVDs etc that you have a genuine interest in.

Or even the top of the range iPad.
