Interchange Film Screenings

LIVERPOOL DESIGN FESTIVAL PRESENTS: INTERCHANGE FILM SCREENINGS FOLLOWED BY Q&A AT METAL

Interchange is a special screening of three works by Liverpool based designers and artists; Jon Barraclough, Sam Meech and Markus Soukup. Each of the works has been developed with other artists and in relation to other artistic practices such as spoken word and music.

There is a extra meeting of Liverpool Cafe Scientifique on Wednesday, 8th December which is being held in conjunction with the British Society for Immunology and is entitled: Of Mice and Men: can models be made better?

It will be given by: Peter Openshaw, Professor of Experimental Medicine at Imperial College London and a consultant in respiratory medicine at Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust. He works on viral lung diseases, particularly those caused by influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). He is Vice-President of the European Scientific Working group on Influenza (ESWI) and was a member of the Scientific Advisory Group in Emergencies (SAGE), advising the UK government on the H1N1/09 influenza pandemic.
