David Hockne y’s famous painting Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy which is on loan until late January 2010. This painting was short-listed for the title of ‘Greatest Painting in Britain’ in a 2005 poll launched by the BBC’s Today programme.
Halifax born Dudley Edwards was in Liverpool last week to open his exhibtion at 3345 on Parr Street. He gave up his time to discuss the inspiration for his work "fair grounds" as these were the only places you could hear Rock'n Roll at a suitably high volume. Plus his first sale to renowned photographer David Bailey.

News From Nowhere has represented a defiant independence in Liverpool now for thirty five years. It has stood by and watched similar ventures collapse, and managed to seem invulnerable. Of course anything built with a radical motif is very vulnerable, and it has been hit hard by recession, internet shopping and possibly by Liverpool Council's determination to sanitise the city.
