As always, they come out to play on the last thursday of the month, which will be... Thursday 30th June. And, as always, they are in residence at the marvellous View Two Gallery, Mathew St., under the watchful eye and beaming smile of our host and patron, Mr Ken Martin... But, enough of that!

After the city-wide processional extravaganza that was last November's Sound Relay, the a.P.A.t.T. Orchestra return with the first in a 4-part concert series - Musical Settings - that will see them explore different environments, both physical and musical.
Musical Settings Part 1: On the Earth, finds the orchestra in the bubble within a bubble that is Sefton Park - a landscaped slice of rurality within the constructed urbanity of the city of Liverpool. The programmed music deals with themes of simplification and distance from the chaos of modern life.
Pete Bentham & The Dinner Ladies, the Liverpool based punk rock & roll band known for their witty, socially conscious songs about nothern working class life and for their constant gigging on UK venue and festivals circuit have been busy making friends on the International scene.
The next a.P.A.t.T Orchestra event is due to take place on Sunday 5th June in Sefton Park, and they are looking for more players for the Orchestra.
You don't have to be able to read Music which I thought might hold loads of people back, you simply have to be able to follow instructions. Tear paper here bang it on the ground.
Hot Sauce Committee Part Two is the Beastie Boys new Album and they are streaming it below. I'm not sure if this is a change in policy for the Beastie Boys to majke there content available for every one to listen to for free but you still have to pay a fortune for the gigs. More and more bands are sop called "giving away" their music and moaking their living from playing Live gigs.
